I've been very very busy setting up the next server project too so its all kinda taking a lot of dedication lately...
Time really flies! May the server continue to be strong and stable for many years to come. I love the idea of keeping the Sega experience alive! I'll definitely come back to play sometime soon. Actually, I think I'm going to create a new character again! I still haven't learned to get attached to a character in order to finally reach high levels and get some decent equipment.
I gotta admit its super clever solution and I had no idea about it, but to translate this to a guide would be too difficult for the normal user, I already had to deal with users panicking because the installer was in Japanese (they tought was a virus!) or dragging/dropping the patch files being a very complicated step and I think I was already very stretching it with the SteamDeck guide in complexity... so I think its better to just ask them by courtesy to write down the password in a post-it or something and keep it safe.
Maybe something can be done in the future to improve the process but lately I've been very busy setting up the next game we gonna host here :)
you should add to the guide that if anyone forgets their password they can recover it from the windows registry. I forgot my password but I was able to log in on linux by copying the password binary data to the wineprefix
It can't be helped, I wrote about it briefly in the updated About section too as you know, yet it's very very difficult (at least for me) to deal with communities these days it requires a lot of brainpower to 'measure' my words constantly and to maintain conversation at strictly superficial levels (the hobby itself).
Most of our game's stories are based/inspired on real events, conspiracy theories, military, sciences, etc. If by any chance you are interested in the [hobby] AND [any of these topics], and begin to talk about the relationship between two, well you know where this is going..
The moment you start going beyond the surface-level talk is when the problems begin (you are starting to become uncomfortable and the moderator will begin to look for a excuse to ban you), it's like they are requesting you to act like a child and stay naive as a child while being an adult to maintain the 'community'. Of course it's wishful thinking.

Shocking, sad and funny at the same time. I'm inclined to agree, but I think it only ruins 90%, more or less. Otherwise we wouldn't be here and there. Sometimes I remember how it was before and think: I think it was cooler to play anonymously, quietly and ignorantly. What a shame that we have such a need to express ourselves and know what others have to say. Sometimes we cause and suffer so many problems and discomfort because of it. Wish for peace... Now I can still see the light... Well... maybe it would have been better to have kept quiet, but...

Nothing really happened this time, I was remembering the insane bad experiences I had last couple years and wrote a message for my future self so I dont repeat the same mistakes and have a bad time.
Everything has been actually very quiet lately (maybe too quiet)
